Why we built SkillSecurity
Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI coding tools support community Skills β Markdown files that extend the agent with custom commands. But installing a third-party Skill means trusting its instructions, scripts, and configuration with your development machine. We looked for a way to check Skills for security risks before installing them and found nothing built for this use case. So we built it.
Who built it
SkillSecurity is an independent project by a developer with a background in application security and static analysis. You can reach the project at support@skillsecurity.net.
